Sarah-Baldwin

 

Sarah Baldwin VN

Head  Nurse: Sarah joined AlphaPet in 1996 as a trainee veterinary nurse and became a  qualified VN in August 2000. Along with Rachael Marner, Sarah is  currently one of three qualified veterinary nurse trainers in the  practice. Sarah has also taken on responsibility for overseeing the West  Meads practice laboratory.

Sarah was appointed Head Nurse in June 2005 as part of  an internal restructuring process.

Sue Monro VN

Birdham Lead Nurse: Sue joined us as part of the Receptionist  Team in 1996. In 1997, she converted to the Nursing Team and began her  veterinary nurse training. Sue gained her VN qualification in August  2000. Sue has taken on the main responsibility for nursing and practice  administration at our Birdham Surgery. 

 

 

 

Rachael-Keep

Rachael Keep VN

Kingley Lead Nurse: Rachael joined AlphaPet in 1995 as a trainee veterinary nurse and  qualified in 1999. She now has responsibilities mainly at our Kingley surgery. Rachael, along with Sarah Baldwin, is a qualified nursing tutor and has the responsibility for overseeing the practice nurse training. 
 

 

 

 

 

  

Wendy Fox VN

Wendy joined AlphaPet in December 2001 to boost the  Kingley clinic team. Always cheerful and great asset to the  practice. Wendy is now a proud mum to Lance, so she is juggling both  professional and domestic duties. 

 

 

 

 

Emma Hurley VN

Joined  us in October 1998 as a temporary receptionist but quickly decided that  what she really wanted to do was Veterinary Nursing. She achieved her VN  qualification in 2004. 

 

 

  

Charlotte-Sampson 

Charlotte Sampson VN

Joined AlphaPet in 2002  and qualified as a VN in 2004. Charlotte has a particular  interest in avian and wildlife patients and has an Eagle Owl as a pet. 

Charlotte, along with Debbie Howe, has recently taken up the position of Deputy Head Nurse to help make Sarah Baldwin’s life a little less busy! 

 

 

 

Debbie-Howe 

Debbie Howe VN

Debbie also joined us as a trainee VN, but has since gained her VN qualification with us. She has particular interests in veterinary dentistry and diabetic management.

Debbie has a horse of her own which takes up quite a  bit of her time when she is not at AlphaPet

Debbie, along with Charlotte Sampson, has recently taken up the position of Deputy Head Nurse to help make Sarah Baldwin’s life a little less busy! 

 

 

 

Hannah-Marshall

Hannah Marshall VN

 

Hannah joined AlphaPet in 2007 having just completed her degree in Veterinary Nursing and Practice Management at Harper Adams University College.

 

 

 

 

Sam Seary

Sam joined AlphaPet as a receptionist at our Birdham  surgery but then transferred to our West Meads Hospital in order  that she could begin her nursing training.

A very bright and bubbly  character who keeps us smiling even when the going gets tough! Sam is currently studying for her Year 1 VN exams.

 

Emma Nolan

Emma  joined AlphaPet originally as a receptionist at the West Meads Hospital.  However, when a suitable veterinary nurse training position came up, she  switched roles and is now currently studying for her ANA qualification.

Nina joined us in Autumn 2005 as an Animal Nursing Assistant.

She has just passed her Year 1 VN exams in July and has just started her Year 2 course.

 

 

Aimee-Uren

Aimee Uren

Aimee joined us in 2005 as a nursing assistant.

She is due to sit her ANA exams in November.

In her spare time, Aimee is one of those strange people who enjoys going to the gym!

 

Rachael-Avery 

Rachael Avery

Rachael joined us late in 2006 having spent some time working at Marwell Zoo. She now wants to further her career and embark on the task of training to be a veterinary nurse.

She is due to sit her Part 1 VN exams at the end of the year

Hayley is our newest addition to the nursing training team having started with us as Kennel Hand.
