We are an independent veterinary group practice consisting of three surgeries serving a local area of West Sussex centred around Chichester, Bognor Regis, Selsey Bracklesham and the Witterings. We are large enough to help but still small enough to care.
Each surgery operates independently but cohesively to provide an integrated approach to veterinary healthcare.
Unlike an increasing number of corporate veterinary practices, we continue to offer a personal, caring and realistic approach to veterinary medicine and healthcare. We are not primarily driven by a desire to make a profit, but we are very much driven by a desire to do what is best for the pets in out care.
We have surgeries 7 days a week until from 8.30am until 7.00pm each weekday, 8.30am to 6.00pm on Saturdays and 10am to 1pm on Sundays.
Should you need to call us outside of normal hours, you will speak directly to an AlphaPet vet. We pride ourselves on continuing to provide a genuine 24 hour emergency service using only AlphaPet vets which is available to you at all hours of the day and night every single day of the year.
We do not use call centres or separate emergency practices with which you are unfamiliar. Many practices these days outsource their emergency service provision meaning that when those practices are most needed, they may not be available and instead, clients will have to travel to strange and unfamiliar practices where fees can be significantly higher - not something we feel our clients would want at a time of high stress.
We try to be honest and up front with regard to our fee structure. In order for us to continue to improve our service with the rapid advances that are occurring in veterinary medicine, we have to be able to reinvest in our practice to acquire more state of the art equipment, facilities and top-quality staff. Therefore, we do not offer upfront discounts to entice clients into the practice. Basic economic reasoning dictates that discounts have to be made up elsewhere or the money will not be available to invest in equipment, facilities and staff. At AlphaPet, we simply charge a scale of fees that covers our costs and allows us to reinvest in the practice to continue to provide “Exceptional Care For The Life Of Your Pet”.
We work very much as a team. Our philosophy is that a happy staff team means happy patients and happy clients. In the 12 years since our establishment, the majority of our staff have stayed and grown with us.
