AlphaPet is a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Accredited Practice
As an accredited practice, the clinics have passed an inspection focusing on a range of areas, including facilities, health and safety, hygiene and clinical governance and the facilities we provide. It also certifies that we:
- comply with current Health and Safety legislation
- employ staff who are fully and appropriately trained for the work that is carried out
- have access to laboratory facilities for diagnostic testing and have a system for monitoring the outcome of treatments
- have appropriate surgical and diagnostic equipment
AlphaPet will be re-inspected on a regular basis and will be subject to spot-checks at any time.
Our last inspection was in April 2008.
The Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary scheme and not all veterinary practices have joined it.
Accreditation means that clients can rest assured that we offer a high quality of care for the pets in our care. It also assures clients that all parts of the practice conform to the standards laid down in both the areas open to the public and also the “behind the scenes” areas.
